WP 1 Production of aquaporins

Objectives

The overall objective of WP1 is to produce purified aquaporin to be used in experimental studies in WP3. This is divided into two sub-objectives:

• To produce recombinant expression and purification of plant aquaporins to be used as building blocks in water membrane

• To purify aquaporin, AQP-1, from a natural source. (Backup to recombinant expression)
